Jura-Volksfest 2023

Summer is a time when almost every brewery organizes an open day with beer tasting and fun for the whole family. When we received an invitation from our customer to visit the festival in Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, we could not miss the opportunity to see how our neighbours in Bavaria celebrate.

The Jura-Volksfest festival is held every year. There are three breweries in Neumarkt, which take it in turns to organise this event every year, which is accompanied not only by good food and drinks, but also by a number of attractions for children and a closing fireworks show. This year it was the turn of the Glossnerbräu brewery, which is our customer and which invited us to this festival. The festival lasts ten days and is attended by around 300,000 visitors each year. We really enjoyed our first visit. The weather, the beer and the atmosphere were excellent. It was certainly not our last visit.
