VLA are robust machines ensuring that a bottle is rinsed before it is filled. The bottles are automatically guided from the conveyor into the gripping mechanism and tipped bottom up over the rinsing nozzles. The rinsing nozzles are designed specifically for these bottles and guarantee rinsing of the entire inner surface. The used liquid is drained outside the machine using a pipe, allowing the machine to be connected to a filter and pump circuit.

Machine design

distinguishes between machines for rinsig of PET bottles and for rinsing of glass bottles.

Design for PET bottles: bottles enter the machine either from an air conveyor or on a height-adjustable plate conveyor. The neck of the PET bottles is led into special plastic clamps which hold them firmly during their passage through machine. The bottles are thus carried by their neck – the “neck handling” system. The bottles are usually transferred by means of a transfer star under the filler. The entire machine is protected against possible damage by a system of safety couplings and electronic modules.

Design for glass bottles: bottles enter the machine on a plate conveyor. The neck of the glass bottles is placed in metal clamps which clamp and hold it firmly during their passage through machine. The metal clamps are fitted with plastic grips at the point of contact with the bottle neck, which correspond to the type of bottle neck being processed and also allow a quick and easy changeover to a bottle with a different neck type. The bottles are moved by interchangeable stars. The entire machine is protected against possible damage by a system of safety couplings and electronic modules.

Cleaning

Design and technology of machine execution meets the criteria of demanding hygienic standards for cleaning. The clamp design allows connection to the cleaning medium supply and subsequent lost flushing of the rinsing water distribution and rinsing nozzles.

Machine execution

Rinsers are produced either as individual machines or in a synchronised block with other equipment in following options: rinser + filler, rinser + filler + capper.

The machine can be delivered in two stage execution (disinfectant + water) for treating containers for sensitive products. Other variants include a rinser with a closed circuit of the rinsing medium (e.g. spirits) or a machine for blowing out the inside of bottles with ionised air..
