SORTEC is a high performing and very reliable device designed for the transport and orientation of closures. The device allows to process a wide range of types of caps, especially caps that cannot be oriented on the TZP sorter. It includes an elevator with a hopper, which transports caps to the orientator drum.

Machine design

is always designed individually for the type of closure.

Functional principle: The caps are conveyed by the elevator in a precisely defined quantity into the orientator drum onto an inclined rotating distributor with holes. These holes correspond to the shape of the caps and ensure their correct orientation. From the holes in the distributor, the caps are guided into the orientator outlet and from there into the caps track to the capper. Incorrectly oriented caps that do not fit into the holes fall by flow of compressed air to the bottom of the sorting compartment.

Machine execution

For each type of closure, the device must be equipped with exchangeable parts, i.e. distributor and outlet. The sorter can be delivered as a part of the capper or as a stand-alone machine with its own wiring including sensors in the capping path.
For certain applications we supply vibrating orientators instead of mechanical systems for reliable and gentle orientation of closures.
