Electronic ketchup filler for company Hamé

The Hamé brand is one of the product brands of the multinational company Orkla Foods and is one of the largest Czech and Central European food producers. The main products in its portfolio are durable and chilled foods. One of these products are ketchups and marinades bottled on our machines. The first machines that we delivered to this company were our piston fillers VISCAL. The latest filling machine delivered so far was our electronic filler PEWAL 12/12/6 PPK.

The filling system of this machine is our electronic system using inductive flow meters for precise determination of the filled volume. The machine also includes two sets of interchangeable capping heads, including tong heads, for two different types of closures (press-on and smooth screw). Screw caps are fed by a pick-and-place system (press-on caps by a pick-off system). A part of the delivery is our caps sorter TZP, allowing both types of caps to be sorted on a single device located one floor above and equipped with a signal for the filler operator to refill the caps into the hopper. The screw and press-on caps differ in size, so they are guided into two lanes without the need for their disassembly.

State of the art solution with focus on the quality of bottled products

The machine is designed to ensure long shelf life and quality of bottled products. This includes:

clean room with sterile air supply
roof-shaped machine table for maximum liquid drainage from the product filling area
hotfilling
electronic filling system without contact of the filling valve with the bottle mouth
closed-circle cleaning (CIP) is a standard feature on all ALTEC fillers
nozzle distribution for cleaning the external surfaces of the machine (COP)

Project summary
